We created our strategy

This was a special day! For the first time we had the opportunity to think only about our association all day long. It is not easy to find the time for ourselves in the daily rush, and it is even more difficult to find time to think about our association - who are we, where are we going, how can we achieve our goals? Therefore, we are very happy about the foresight of the Active Citizens Fund, providing financial support to associations to strengthen their capacity.

This day was a new restart for our association. It was so good to be together, shoulder to shoulder, to feel mutual understanding, support and a common desire to achieve goals. Lauma Žubule had prepared various tasks for us to accomplish the main task of the day - to identify the reality, set goals together and find a way to achieve them. It was very important to go through SWOT analysis together. Each opinion revealed some important aspects - it is so valuable to be different... The biggest challenge for us was Ritvars' task from Lūzumpunkts. Thanks to him, now we know that the impossible is possible for us! It inspires! 😇

Looking back, we did not realize the importance of increasing the capacity of our association when we entered the project competition. At the moment, we are very happy to be able to afford to think about ourselves. 😉
