Video film making master class for young people

During the school holidays, the young people's task was to film a video. 🎬 The young people had to come up with the script and title of the film themselves, be the actors, costume and props artists themselves, and also film it themselves. In making a video film, young people were free in their creative flight. Alise Rasa Lapiņa was with the young people all week, while the video operator Dmitrijs Golubevs gave the young people all the necessary knowledge about video filming, creating a script and editing the film.

The first day started with Dmitrijs story and tips on how to film with a phone, how to start creating a script. When the theory is clear, time for practice - first the ideas for the scenario were generated. It remained for the first to start and idea balls flew in all directions. The special effects of explosions were especially generously used. 💣😲 During the creation of the scenario, the young people created the characters themselves and divided the roles. Without major arguments and heated discussions, the large pages of the script were quickly written down. The day ended with the young people making a plan for the next few days together with Alice Rasa, planning the available outfits and choosing the best camera. 😂

On Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, Daugavas street 34th was turned into a filming location, as filming took place in the kitchen, offices, hallway and outside. in order to create an arrangement corresponding to the scenario, the young people diligently prepared the decorations and used the items available on the spot.

Assembly took place on Friday. Dmitrijs came to the young people again to watch the filmed videos together and put them together in the order of the script. The young people gave Dmitri a lot of specific tasks, in which second a certain music, inscription, sound and video effect should be.

Next, the assembly work for Dmitry and the project "Together here and now!" finally, in January 2023, the premiere of the film.
